CHALLENGE COINS FOR SALE!
The Ulah Volunteer Fire Department now has new challenge coins for sale. These coins are $10. each and for anyone to purchase. These coins proudly represent our Fire Departments history and our future mission. Included on these coins are historic and public attractions within our fire district including the Pisgah Covered Bridge (which is one of the last two covered bridges in the state) and the Uwharrie National Forest. These coins also include our departments new patch which proudly honors our former fire chief. So get yours today; there is a limited amount so once they're gone, they're gone! You can stop by our headquarters fire station and purchase one (Or more) at "2067, Pisgah Covered Bridge Rd., Asheboro, N.C.,27205". Note - Any funds raised by this fundraiser will go to support the Ulah Volunteer Fire Department. Also please note currently the department will not be trading coins (Only selling) as this is a fundraiser we thank you for understanding this and we thank everyone for their continued support!

The Ulah Volunteer Fire Department held its annual board meeting on Thursday, 03, April, 2025 and where new board of director was voted onto the fire departments board of directors, also two board members were re-elected to their board positions.
+New board member elected, Robert King!
+Re-elected board members are, Robert Callicutt & Taylor Callicutt!
Also, the board of directors voted on the Ulah Fire Departments new chief officers; these positions will be for 2 year terms and are volunteer positions. The board of directors re-appointed Charlotte King to remain as the departments fire chief. The board of directors also appointed new deputy and assistant fire chiefs. The new deputy fire chief will be Jay Wolfe! The new assist fire chief will be Brandon Allen! These positions will take effect 05/01/2025.

Ulah Fire Department is selling yard address signs. The cost is $20.00 (cash or check). Stop by our headquarters fire station at "2067, Pisgah Covered Bridge Road, Asheboro, N.C., 27205", during the hours of 8 A.M. - 4 P.M. (or call to schedule an appointment at another time) to purchase one. These yard address signs help fire and EMS and police agencies find you during emergences.
